About us
For over 25 years, Wonderland Daycare Nursery has been providing childcare for children age birth to 5 years. We have 14 members off staff including, Nursery Nurses, Nursery Assistants and Cooks, all of whom have a range of various qualifications and experience in childcare. All staff are DBS checked and hold the relevant Safeguarding qualifications and 9 staff are also Paediatric First Aid trained. We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Curriculum and each child is assigned their own keyworker who observes and records your child’s learning and development in their individual profile. We have a large outdoor area with lots of seasonal resources and all the children spend quality time outside on a daily basis. Our cooks provide a range of healthy home cooked meals, including a morning snack, a two course hot lunch and a two course light tea, catering for all dietary requirements and allergies.
Dormice
This room is from birth to 2 years. We can accommodate up to 9 babies with 3 members of staff. We have a separate milk kitchen and a sleep room with cots. We work closely with parents to ensure your babies individual routine is maintained.
White Rabbits
This room is from 2 -3 years. We can accommodate up to 12 children with 3 members of staff. We encourage the children to explore, create, imagine and interact through play using a wide range of resources and activities.
Cheshire Cats
This room is from 3-5 years. We can accommodate up to 21 children and 3 staff. In this room we start to prepare the children for school by encouraging independence and self-confidence. Staff observe and plan activities to promote the children’s individual next steps and support the children’s development in phonics, numeracy and writing.
